Placenta Therapy for Body Rejuvenation

Doctor-reviewed · · 2 min read · Beauty & Skin

Placenta is the afterbirth of mammals. It plays a key role in nourishing the developing embryo and building its immunity.

The placenta contains a wide range of amino acids and a substance known as stem cell stimulating factor, which is believed to help reactivate dormant stem cells in the body so they can take part in repair. Placenta peptide has been reported to help stimulate stem cell activity, which may help support the shedding of old, worn-out cells and their replacement with new ones to restore the body's function.

Fresh Placenta

As we age, the rate of cell division in the body declines, and deteriorating cells are one factor associated with many chronic diseases.

Fresh Placenta care uses sheep placenta with the aim of supporting cell division and helping worn-out or dormant cells work more effectively. Potential benefits include:

  • May help support the immune system
  • May help balance the endocrine and metabolic systems
  • May help balance hormones, ease menopausal symptoms and support sexual performance
  • May help support the body's recovery after surgery
  • May help stimulate collagen production for more elastic skin and less visible wrinkles
  • May help improve sleep quality and reduce fatigue

Placenta Extract

Placenta Extract is made from human placenta through a high-standard production process. It begins with selecting placentas from mothers who have had health checks before, during and after pregnancy, are in good health, and are free of hereditary and infectious diseases.

Immediately after birth, the placenta is frozen in liquid nitrogen, then its cells are separated and extracted for use as an injection. Placenta extract contains several hormones, such as HCG, and is used as supportive care in the following areas:

  • Hormone balance: may help support hormone balance in both women and men, ease symptoms of menopause and women's conditions such as menstrual pain, and ease symptoms of male andropause, which often occurs after age 60, such as irritability, oversensitivity, erectile problems, forgetfulness and insomnia
  • Circulation and skin: may help reduce inflammation and support blood circulation so that the body receives more blood, nutrients and oxygen, leaving skin looking brighter and firmer with less visible wrinkles
  • Symptoms related to blood vessels in the brain: used to help ease symptoms such as migraine, ringing in the ears (tinnitus) and vertigo
  • Immune system: may be used as supportive care for people with autoimmune diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis and lupus (SLE), or with low immunity, including people receiving steroids, chemotherapy or radiotherapy, to help ease side effects. It does not replace the main treatment from the treating physician
